From Rendering to Finish.

My background started in art and I eventually felt God’s leading that took me into a career of “shaping wood”. Since then I have dedicated my life to reaching gold standards of woodworking. I have always had a keen eye for architectural design and elements of style and proportion; using my drawing ability to create realistic renderings through which I have been able to put onto paper my client’s vision. I went to trade school to acquire the necessary skills; excelling at this with natural, God-given talent. I have worked in many disciplines of my craft over the 30 years; from a draftsman to finishing and installing completed projects and with each phase, my love of working with wood grew.

My attention to details in nature give me a subliminal feel for what works well together to get an effect that is harmonious. I have had years of drawing and studies in design and construction that make me perfectly suited to bring your ideas to life. My skills ranges from traditional to modern; including theme and specialty designs. I have done four entire homes in the exclusive Lake Tahoe area of California and have created many one-of-a-kind wood works of art. My passions run towards a Tahoe-esque, natural tree and reclaimed wood style with. live-edged lumber and natural flow cabinetry.

Recently I have been working in the Tahoe – Truckee and sierra foothill areas and have also completed custom jobs in San Francisco and Granite Bay California. I enjoy a challenge and love to create and fabricate to make an original idea come to life!
